Heil Exhibiting Two Leading RCVs at RWM Show 2006
At this year's RWM Show on stand OA124, Heil Europe, the UK's largest refuse collection vehicle manufacturer is exhibiting a 'Eurocycler' with its new Comb Lift mechanism and unique detachable Side Panniers and a Grundon 'Front End Loader'.
The Eurocycler has a body length of 7.7 metres and a capacity of 25.3m3, which is split 11.6m3 in the top compartment, and 13.7 m3 in the bottom. A split container on both sides of the body allows the simultaneous separation and dumping of recyclables into the body chambers from either side.
The Comb mechanism allows containers to be lifted ranging from 120 - 360 litres and with the added advantage of the unique detachable Panniers, you can use both sides for a box recycling system, or one side for boxes and the other side for wheeled containers.
The new Comb Lift can be fitted to one or both sides as an option to give complete versatility of operation.
Cushioned cylinders ensure a smoother, quieter operation while other benefits include Heil's unique dual swing link action packing mechanism, which gives minimal glass breakage.
The Heil Front End Loader provides its operators with a robust and efficient vehicle that has the ability to lift up to 3630 kilograms, giving it the best possible bin capacity lifting arms. The programmable logic control offers simplified handling, reliable operation and system condition monitoring. In addition the user can get operational information from text display inside the cabin.
