Midlands based, WCR, has recently taken delivery of five new Powerlinks which have been supplied by leading refuse collection vehicle manufacturer Heil Europe. The new Powerlinks have been supplied as part of a fleet expansion programme and will be used for short-term hire contracts.
The new Powerlinks join an already existing fleet of refuse collection vehicles which are available for short and long-term hire.
Matthew Gibbon, Sales Director for WCR comments; "We are extremely pleased with the new Powerlinks. We have a wide range of refuse collection vehicles within our fleet and Heil make up part of the essential mix".
WCR are a midlands based organisation providing a unique portfolio of services to customers nationwide. Established in 2000, WCR operate kerbside recycling schemes by working in partnership with local authorities and a refuse collection vehicle hire service. WCR are a customer focused company who are committed to providing a first-class service.
The Powerlink, manufactured by Heil, provides flexibility to any RCV fleet. With its full-cycle compaction mechanism, it produces less friction than conventional channelled compaction systems thus ensuring that a greater force is directed into the load. The reduction of friction increases durability of materials, improving whole life costs.
Additionally a newly designed hydraulic system offers unique and unparalleled performance; reduced downtime; lower maintenance costs and less risk of environmental pollution. Heil offers a variety of options for body sizes on the Powerlink with cubic capacities of 16 to 26m3.
The new Powerlinks will be maintained in-house by WCR.
