Heil Europe Exhibiting At This Year’s CV Show
Stand 2331, NEC Birmingham 2007
‘Made in Britain’ is the theme for the Heil Europe stand at this year’s CV Show.
Heil Europe, part of Heil Environmental, the world’s largest refuse collection vehicle manufacturer, is displaying all things ‘British’ on stand 2331.
Heil Europe has been manufacturing refuse collection vehicles for over 30 years and is this year showcasing its supply chain process.
Heil has always supported the British economy and at this year’s exhibition will be showing the general public just why this is so important to the business.
93% of all materials are sourced from the UK, and then manufactured at the Heil plant in Dunfermline.
After much success at last year’s show, Heil will be displaying four vehicles instead of the usual three and will be launching their new DVD.
On the stand will be a Heil Front End Loader. The automatic levelling and dumping of containers reduces the risk of spillage and damage to the containers while programmable logic control offers simplified handling, reliable operation and system condition monitoring.
Also on the stand will be a Heil Powerlink, which provides flexibility to any RCV fleet, with its full-cycle compaction mechanism. Additionally a leak-free hydraulic system and CanBus electric’s offers unique and unparalleled performance. Heil offers a variety of options for body sizes on the Powerlink with cubic capacities of 16 to 26m³.
The third vehicle on the stand is the Powertrak, a robust and hard working refuse collection vehicle, designed for higher performance levels and lower cost of ownership, sets the future standards of RCV design and performance. With a hopper capacity of 2.3m³ the Powertrak can handle bulk materials easily and its superior corrosion resistance extends service life.
Finally, Heil’s Big Bite which is considered to be the industry standard in REL design will be on display. The Big Bite offers a refuse carrying capacity of up to 27 and 31m³, which with the large 2.5m³ hopper, facilitates the collection of large refuse items and reduces the collection time for each trip by increasing the volume packed in each cycle.
Heil Europe has been exhibiting at the CV Show since 2003 and is looking forward to displaying the new ‘Made in Britain’ theme at this year’s show.
