H Brown & Son (Recycling) Ltd Orders Another Heil Big Bite
Already impressed with their Heil Big Bite which was delivered in October 2006, H Brown & Son Ltd has placed an order for a second.
Robust design and proven industry track record was the main reason behind why Browns chose the Heil Big Bite.
The new Heil Big Bite will be used for the collection of compactable commercial and industrial waste.
Based in Stoke, Browns main business is waste collection and recycling of ferrous, non-ferrous metal, cardboard, paper, plastic and inert materials.
With a total of 41 employees, H Brown & son operate within the North Staffordshire and South Cheshire region as well as offering a nationwide service. Customers range from blue chip companies such as JCB excavators, Steelite International and BFM Europe to local shops, offices and the construction/demolition industry.
Managing director Rod Brown said; “We have been extremely impressed with the Heil Big Bite which is why we have placed a repeat order. Since the unit was added to the fleet it has been working six days per week with no major problems, and overall, fleet productivity has continued to rise which has made a significant contribution to profit”.
Heil’s Big Bite is considered to be the industry standard in REL design. It offers a refuse carrying capacity of up to 31m³, which with the large 2.5m³ hopper, facilitates the collection of large refuse items and reduces the collection time for each trip by increasing the volume packed in each cycle. It can lift bins up to 1100 litres and with its programmable logic controls (PLC) the Big Bite offers simplified control, reliable operation and system conditioning monitoring.
