Heil's 1000th FEL Becomes Biffa's 1500th Fleet Vehicle
In a coincidence of round numbers the 1000th Front End Loader RCV to roll off the production line at Heil Europe was destined to become the 1500th vehicle in Biffa’s mighty fleet.
Biffa has one of the largest waste collection networks in the UK, providing waste collection and recycling services to over 75,000 industrial and commercial customers and to around 20 local authorities.
The success of the Heil FEL is due to its incredible robustness, efficiency and ability to lift up to 3,360kg in any standard container. With its flat hopper body and interlaced sub-frame the FEL is designed for a longer life and exceptional durability.
Martyn Wolfe, Group Fleet Engineer for Biffa, believes the Heil FEL meets the company’s requirements perfectly,
“This new Heil RCV is one of over 150 Heil vehicles in our fleet. We look for efficiency over the whole life of our vehicles and the FEL has proved to be up to the mark on every occasion”.
Roy Cooper, Sales and Marketing Director at Heil commented:
“The FEL is well known for its ability to handle large loads and improve efficiency in operations, which has made it such a strong product in the Heil Europe catalogue. We are extremely proud to see this 1000th FEL go to such a high profile progressive company like Biffa”.
The Heil Europe Front End Loader has numerous beneficial features including an optimised body size, best possible lifting capacity, ‘pack on the move’ facility and a crush-proof tailgate plus multiple safety features, making it one of the most robust and efficient RCV’s on the market.
