Four New Heils for Hills

The Heil Product is ‘Well Manufactured, Competitively Priced and Improves Operation Efficiency’

The Wiltshire based Hills Group has added four more Heil Europe RCV’s to its ever growing fleet. Recently they have taken delivery of a Powerlink 22 UTL Binlift on a Mercedes 6x4 Econic and a Big Bite 27 BB Hoist on a Mercedes 32 tonne Econic, and a further two are in the process of being built for the company.

Similarly to Heil, the Hills Group was founded over 100 years ago and has progressed through a multiplicity of operations to focus on aggregates, recycling and resource management, and house-building. Despite the developments, the same qualities of energy, enterprise, affability and confidence with which the Hills Group was founded, still characterise it today.

The new Heil RCV’s have been added to the 75 strong Hills fleet and will be used in their commercial waste collection and recycling service. Eight of their existing Heil vehicles are particularly fitted with compaction bodies to maximise collection of waste. The commercial REL collection service uses up to 14 cubic yard containers and the commercial trade waste operation incorporates a mixed recycling and collection service.

Speaking on behalf of the Hills Group Peter Moore, Transport Operations Manager, commented:

”We chose Heil because they produce a well manufactured and finished product. The vehicles have proven reliability and they are very competitively priced. The other important point is the simple fact that our drivers and operators really like them which results in a smoother and more efficient operation.”

All Heil Europe RCV’s are manufactured in the UK to the highest specification and, as well as a quality product, the company offer excellent warranty and back-up service.
