Heil Showcase Small & Strong P900 at Futuresource 2009

Heil Europe, part of Heil Environmental, the world’s largest refuse collection vehicle manufacturer, will unveil the P900, another addition to their popular range of RCV’s, at this year’s Futuresource.

Based on Heil’s hard working Powertrak, the new P900 has as much strength and robustness as Heil’s larger refuse vehicles, whilst being small enough to suit narrow, tight access and rural refuse rounds. The vehicle featured on Heil’s stand, stand P41, will be fitted on a DAF 55 4x2 15T chassis, is extremely manoeuvrable, whist still allowing for over 5T payload, and will feature the new comb lift from Heil, Hoist (“HCL”).

The P900 is a versatile RCV as it also proves successful as a food waste collection vehicle due to its unique sump system and heavy duty tailgate seal. It is this versatility and the fact that it shares the same reliable electrical & hydraulic systems as the rest of the Heil range, and that all wearing parts can be changed in situ, which means that the P900 has low maintenance costs and less downtime.

For nearly 30 years Heil Europe has tailored its products and services to match the exacting needs of RCV operators in both the private and public sectors. By combining a close understanding of specific user requirements with flexible and dynamic engineering, Heil Europe has developed a range of Refuse Collection Vehicles unsurpassed for efficiency and reliability.
