Heil Pull Out All the Stops for Coventry City Council
Coventry City Council have recently received four new Powerlinks, adding to the current fleet of 36 Heil Europe vehicles at work in the city.
The vehicles being supplied to Coventry City Council are Heil Powerlink 22m bodies fitted to a Mercedes Econic chassis and incorporate Terberg lifts. The Powerlink bodies have also been fitted with drainage kit and the latest weighing systems.
Chris Coyle, Coventry Council’s Fleet and Workshop Manager, explained why Coventry City Council have returned to Heil, “Heil vehicles are very reliable and the Powerlink is a great product. Also, Heil’s aftercare service and support is excellent. They are adaptable and keen to react to any situation that may arise, they pull out all the stops if there are any problems”
The Powerlink provides flexibility to any RCV fleet. With its full-cycle compaction mechanism, it produces less friction than conventional channelled compaction systems thus ensuring that a greater force is directed into the load. The reduction of friction increases durability of materials, improving whole life costs.
